NeckTite

NeckTite is an advanced minimally-invasive procedure that can be used to tighten and contour the neck in a wide range of patients. It’s versatility, effectiveness, and relatively short recovery have made it a popular treatment for our patients at Z Facial Plastic Surgery. The applications range from contour improvement in the younger patients, to addressing skin laxity for those with age related changes. It can even be used in combination with neck liposuction or Morpheus.

What is NeckTite?

NeckTite is a non-surgical, minimally-invasive procedure that offers men and women a way to contour and take years off the look of the appearance of their necks. This innovative treatment is based on the same radiofrequency technology Dr. Z employs during the FaceTite treatment. As can be seen in the videos, the thin cannula from the handpiece is inserted through a tiny needle size hole under the chin, and if necessary under each ear lobe. The handpiece uses radiofrequency to safely apply a controlled amount of heat to the target areas. This stimulates the skin to contract (tighten) and has the added benefit of melting some fat as well. Liposcution can be added is excess fat is noted in the area. Additionally, the heat stimulates continuous improvements for months through the formation of collagen.

The NeckTite Procedure

The NeckTite procedure is a very similar process to the FaceTite method. To begin Dr. Z will give you an oral pain medication along with an anti-anxiety mediation to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. He will then administer a local anesthetic (numbing medication) to make sure that you feel no discomfort during the treatment process. Once the treatment area is numbed, he will use the handpiece to apply controlled heat to the treatment area and melt away the stubborn fat that has accumulated and tightens the skin to enhance the neck’s contours.

Since the procedure requires no incisions or the removal of skin, there is very little discomfort associated with NeckTite. After the procedure is completed, patients can resume most of their normal (non-strenuous) activities in 24 hours. Dr. Z encourages wearing the elastic bandage (such as that pictured below) for 4 days after the procedure, and another 7 days at night-time only. Patients are asked to avoid strenuous activities such as heavy lifting for 1 week.

The Benefits of NeckTite

This non-invasive method of rejuvenating and tightening the neck is much safer than a traditional neck lift and provides results that approach what can be seen in a neck lift surgery without the hassles of downtime from work and normal daily activities.

Good Candidates for NeckTite

NeckTite is the perfect cosmetic procedure for those who want to improve the contours of their necks without the need to commit to a highly invasive surgical procedure like the neck lift. Patients who are unhappy with submental fullness, sagging skin in the neck, and the formation of jowls make the best candidates for NeckTite.

If you’re interested in undergoing the procedure, it is important that you first meet with Dr. Z for a consultation. He will perform an assessment of your neck and ask you about details relating to your medical history to determine if you’d make a good candidate for the procedure.
