Dr. Ruslan Zhuravsky a great surgeon! I had botox, juvederm fillers and neck surgery. My results are amazing but very natural. VOLUMA
This is the most firm of the Juvederm line of fillers. It creates a very full, yet soft filling effect, and lasts 1.5 – 2 years on average. Voluma is Dr. Z’s favorite filler for the cheek / malar region as it gives a natural and soft appearance. It can be used for a liquid facelift as it supports the midface, and is great for both restoring volume as well as adding new volume in order to create a more desirable heart shaped face. Some other popular areas of use are the temples, the jaw line, chin, and even the nose.
ULTRA PLUS
While this filler is softer than Voluma, it is more cohesive and so does not spread as easily. It usually lasts 1 year or more. This means that is it less ideal for lifting, but great for filling more defined areas. Ultra Plus is Dr. Z’s work horse filler due to these characteristics and his favorite filler for lips, liquid rhinoplasty, marionette lines, and other deep facial grooves. While other fillers can be used for lip augmentation, Ultra Plus is a great choice to not only add volume but also create the desired shape.
ULTRA
Juvederm Ultra is softer than Ultra Plus and spreads more easily but is still able to produce a nice defined filling effect. It typically last up to 1 year. Dr. Z uses this for lip augmentation when a larger softer volume is required with less need for shaping the fine architecture of the lips.
Vollure
This filler is made similarly to Voluma, but is softer and less cohesive, thus spreads and moves more easily. It typically last 1.5 years. While it is not the best for adding volume into areas like the cheeks, it works well for areas like nasolabial folds and marionette lines. These are also areas that Dr. Z likes to use Ultra Plus, and the choice depends on the particular situation.
Volbella
Even softer and less cohesive than Vollure, this filler can be thought of as the softest and most fluid of the group. It also lasts approximately 1.5 years. These properties make Vollure a nice choice for a subtle increase in lip volume without much shaping of the lip architecture.
